Wedding

Okay so I haven't officially started doing weddings yet, but will be sure to make the annoucement when I do. These are a few shots from a wedding I was a second shooter for back in June. I recently did another wedding in August and one day I'll be caught up enough to post those as well. Until then.....

Just did some headshots a few days ago and wow, what a beautiful girl! I was a little concerned that it was getting too dark for the pics, but the lighting turned out to be just perfect. Here's is my favorite shot. I've got lots of other sessions that I need to post. I'll be updating more shortly. Until then.....

Here's the little guy! I had the opportunity to photograph this couple for a maternity session and was pleased to get the chance to take pics of their super adorable baby boy. At just 12 days old he's already breaking hearts, mine that is I just couldn't get enough. What a treat. He was the perfect angel. This was only the second newborn I've ever worked with so I was a bit nervous but I'm pleased with the results.

I had so much fun photographing this senior just a few days ago. We went to Snohomish, one of my absolute favorite locations to shoot. What a beautiful girl!!! While on my way to meet her in the historic section I drove past these stunning fields of yellow flowers and knew we simply had to go back. I was a little apprehensive as it was private property, but took the risk as it wasn't fenced off. The owner came pulling up during the middle of shoot and was the nicest woman ever! She let us know that the crop was mustard plants. I had no idea that mustard could be that pretty. Lucky for me she gave the go ahead to keep on taking pics and said the plants are in bloom until fall. Ahh.... how fantastic is that! I can't wait to come back and take more photos! Thanks Morgan I had a wonderful time.

This family suggested our location and I loved it! It's on a college campus where the couple met and it was fun to see them show their kids around their old stomping grounds. It was such a beautiful place, I think I'll take a bride there one day. My only regret is that I wish we would have had more time!

I had the opportunity to take photos of this terrific family just a few weeks ago. We tried out a new location for a fun urban setting and it turned out great. This little boy was the easiest kid I have ever worked with. He totally smiled on command and had so much energy and enthusiam! I can't wait to shoot at this location again and hopefully with this family too!

Maternity Bliss

I did my first Maternity shoot just under two weeks ago and am happy to post the results here. These two are good friends of ours, and I felt so lucky to capture this moment for them. BTW she is in her last month of pregnancy....... I know, I know all of those ladies out there who have been pregnant are probably pulling the grrr face right now, she is tiny. Lucky lady, and lucky family. I can't wait to meet their little guy. Thanks I had a wonderful time!
